Café classics and a dish of the day, every day.

Here you eat the way you'd like to eat at home, if you had a bit more time. At lunchtime a toastie, an uitsmijter or two croquettes on bread. In the evening the dish of the day from the board or a classic from the menu: satay, schnitzel, the Leeuwenburger. All fresh, gravy from our own bones and chips from real potatoes.

Drinks and beer

Bitterballen, sharing boards and twelve beers on tap.

On a stool or at a table, with a small pils or a tripel. Twelve taps, from our own Leeuwenpils to a seasonal bock. With it: bitterballen from the butcher, a mixed platter of snacks or a board of aged cheese and dried sausage. On Friday from five to seven a small pils is cheaper.

The back room

For parties of up to 80 guests.

Birthday, farewell, reunion or forty years married: the room behind the café is yours. It has its own bar, a small dance floor and a door to the courtyard. Choose drinks or a buffet, and we take care of the service and the food. We don't charge room hire if you eat and drink with us.

Quiz and live music

Something on in the café every week.

The pub quiz on the first Tuesday of the month, regular live music by the window on Saturdays, and on Sunday afternoon the klaverjas club plays cards. Entry is free, except for the quiz: three euros per person, and all of it goes into the pot.
