- Own server in the Netherlands, separate from other sites. A firewall only lets through what’s needed.
- Always https and protected against attacks via Cloudflare. Updates run automatically every day.
- 24/7 monitoring. Site down? We know straight away and get to work on it.
- Admin under lock and key. Log in with two-factor authentication (2FA): an extra login code as well as your password. A password alone is not enough.
- No trackers, no cookie wall. No Google Analytics. Fonts are hosted on our own server.

Online payments and web shops
We deliberately don’t do payments through the site. That requires certification and heavy security that don’t fit a fixed fee. Payment goes by invoice, card or your own till or booking system.

Why do I pay nothing upfront?
We spread the cost of design and build over the subscription. You pay nothing upfront and know exactly what you spend each month.
How long does the subscription run?
At least 12 months, paid in advance monthly or yearly. After that you can cancel monthly. Cancel before the 14th? Then it ends at the end of that month.
Which changes are included?
Small changes are always included: texts and photos on existing pages, opening hours, prices, contact details and notices. Online within a week, up to about half an hour of work a month. New pages, features or a different design are agreed separately, with a fixed price upfront. What counts?
Is my domain name included in the subscription?
No, your domain name is separate from the subscription. We register and renew it for you, and charge it once a year at the normal annual rate. For most domains that’s a few tens of euros a year. The domain name always stays yours.
Can I keep managing my domain name myself?
Yes, that’s fine. Your domain name then simply stays with your own provider and we don’t take it over. You set one pointer to your website yourself, and we send you exactly which one. Renewal, your DNS and your email are then up to you, and so is the responsibility for them. Of course, we then don’t charge for the domain name.
Do I also get email on my own domain?
Yes, but we don’t host email ourselves. You take an email plan from, for example, Microsoft 365, Google or Proton, and we connect it to your domain so your email doesn’t end up in spam. That’s included. How email on your domain works.
Can I receive payments through the site?
No, deliberately not. No web shops, no online payments. Payment goes by invoice, card or your own till or booking system. We do link to that.
Who owns the website?
Your texts, photos, logo and domain name are always yours. Design, code and technology belong to SGS. So you rent a complete site that we keep running for you. If you leave, we don’t keep a single photo, logo or text of yours. Want to keep them? Then that’s up to you.
What if I want to stop?
Sorry to see you go, but we won’t make it difficult. After the first year you can cancel monthly. If you paid in advance, the site keeps running until the end of that period. We don’t give refunds, but you don’t pay anything extra either. After that the site goes offline and we don’t hand anything over: so keep a copy of your own texts, photos and logo. We only transfer your domain name, to you or your new provider. Did you have the domain before you came to us? Then you get it back for free. If we registered it for you, the transfer costs a €25 admin fee. How cancelling works.
