You get a professional website straight away, with no upfront costs. You pay nothing in advance and never have to think about it. We build, host and maintain. You pay one fixed monthly fee.
Buy a website or subscribe?
Having a custom website built easily costs €1,500 or more, paid upfront. And after that you sort everything out yourself. With a subscription you pay nothing upfront and everything is included.

Proposal within 2 weeks
A real page in your style. Don’t like it the first time? Just say so: up to three proposals are included. A fourth costs one month of your package.
Build and go live
Happy? Then we build the rest and your site goes live within 2 weeks at most. The subscription only starts then.
Aftercare
We make the odd mistake too. If you spot something that isn’t right, we fix it straight away, free of charge. We’re only happy when you are. After that, we keep your site secure, fast and up to date.

The more we know about you, the better the first proposal fits. Don’t have something yet? No problem, we’ll help you work it out.
How should it feel?
A few words are enough: bold, calm, luxurious, playful, crafted. And who is your site for?
Your brand colours
If you have fixed colours, send them along. Not yet? Then we’ll suggest a palette that suits you.
Your logo as a file
Ideally as svg or as png without a background. No logo? Then we’ll set your name in a nice way.
Your work, your business, yourself
Your own photos work best: of your work, your team or your place. As long as it’s sharp, we’ll make it look good.
What you do and who for
Your services, your prices and what makes you different. Keywords are fine too: we turn them into proper text.

Basis or Plus
Both have no upfront costs and include everything you need. With Plus you can change things yourself and see what your site brings in. Need something only Plus has, such as more than 5 pages, managing it yourself, bookings or vacancies? Then your site falls under Plus.

Make changes yourself, get found more easily and see what your site brings in.

- Backups guaranteed: a backup every day. If something goes wrong, we restore your site and your data
- Up to 12 pages, with a separate page for each service
- Dutch and English: your site in English too (simple translation)
- Your own admin area: change your texts, photos and services yourself whenever you like. A simple booking portal is possible too
- Admin under lock and key: log in with two-factor authentication (2FA)

Custom
“I’m one of a kind.”
Your wishes don’t fit Basis or Plus? A link with your scheduling software, a members’ area or something entirely your own: by mutual agreement we also do custom work. Tell us what you need and we will do our best.
Custom work falls outside the fixed packages: it runs on Plus, with a one-off setup fee.
What counts as a small change?
Small changes are always included, with Basis and Plus. So you know exactly what to expect.
Included
- Editing text on an existing page.
- Replacing or adding photos in an existing spot.
- Updating opening hours, prices and contact details.
- Posting a notice, such as a holiday or a special offer.
- Small mistakes: a typo, a broken link.
Not included
- A new page or a new section.
- Adding projects or news. With Plus you do that yourself, in your own admin area.
- Changing the design or layout.
- New features, such as an extra form or a link with other software.
- Rewriting several pages or having new texts written.

Term, ownership and cancelling
Clear from the start.
At least a year, then monthly
You pay in advance, monthly or yearly. The first year covers the design and build work. After that you can cancel monthly. Moving from Basis to Plus is always possible, also mid-term; if your wishes call for it, we’ll tell you upfront. Going back from Plus to Basis is not possible: we don’t strip a site down.
Always yours
Your domain name stays yours. We register and renew it, and charge it once a year at the normal annual rate. Leaving? Then we transfer it to you or your new provider. If you had it before you came to us, that’s free. Otherwise there is a €25 admin fee.
Texts, photos and logo
Everything you supply stays yours. Do keep a copy yourself: if you leave, we don’t hand anything over and we don’t keep any of it either.
You rent, we manage
Design, code and technology belong to SGS. That’s why we can keep everything up to date for you.
We do everything we can, but 100% doesn’t exist
All sites run in their own isolated environment, with a firewall and daily backups. Every night we check for updates. If there are any, we install them and briefly restart your site, at night, so you don’t notice a thing during the day. If a known vulnerability (a CVE) is found, we deal with it the same day and don’t wait for the night. Is a vulnerability so serious that your site is at risk and there’s no fix yet? Then we take your site offline temporarily until there’s a safe version, and let you know straight away. Better briefly off the air than hacked. Still, nobody can guarantee that a hacker will never get in, and what they do then is beyond our control. A hack of our systems despite these measures therefore counts as force majeure. What we do promise: we restore your site as quickly as possible.
How to leave, without hassle
Sorry to see you go, but we won’t make it difficult. We don’t tie you down: after the first year, this is how it works.

A short message to simon (at) sgs.dev is enough. You get a confirmation with the end date.
Before the 14th? Then end of the month
Cancel before the 14th? Then it ends at the end of that month. After that, it runs until the end of the following month.
Paid in advance?
Paid in advance, for example yearly? Then your site keeps running until the end of that period. We don’t give refunds, but you don’t pay anything extra either: you simply keep the site until the last day.
Your domain goes with you
We transfer your domain name (the URL). Did you bring it yourself? Then it’s free. If we registered it, there is a €25 admin fee. We don’t hand over anything else, so keep a copy of your texts, photos and logo yourself.
End of contract, end of content
On the end date the site goes offline. In line with the GDPR, we delete everything that belongs to your site: photos, logo and texts. Want to keep them? Then save them yourself: that’s your own responsibility. Everything disappears from our backups within a year at most. Your new provider can carry on straight away on your own domain.
Questions about a website subscription
How much does a website cost?
With us you pay no upfront costs. You pay a fixed monthly fee: Basis €39.95 and Plus €54.95, excl. VAT. Design, build, hosting, maintenance and small changes are included. The subscription runs for at least 12 months, after which you can cancel monthly. Only your domain name comes on top, yearly, at the normal rate.
Can I rent a website?
Yes, that’s exactly what you do with us. We make your custom website, put it online and keep it up to date. You pay monthly. Your texts, photos, logo and domain name stay yours. The design and technology are ours, which is why we can keep everything up to date for you.
Is a website subscription a smart choice for a freelancer?
Often, yes. You get a professional site straight away, without a big bill upfront. And you don’t need to know anything about hosting, updates or security. That leaves you time for your own work. Want to build and manage everything yourself? Then a subscription is less of a fit.
How quickly will my website be online?
After the introductory meeting you see a proposal within 2 weeks: a real page in your style. Happy? Then your site goes live within 2 weeks at most. So you’re usually online within a month.
Will my website be found in Google?
We build every site so Google understands it well: fast pages, a sitemap, tidy titles and structured data for Google. When it goes live, we submit your site. We don’t promise a top spot, because nobody can honestly promise that. With Plus you get a separate page for each service, and we write the texts for your Google Maps listing.
How do I pass on my wishes?
After the introductory conversation you get a login and create your website's Blueprint. In it you tell us everything: what your site should achieve, your business, what you offer, the style you're after, your logo and your photos. Everything is saved straight away, so you can take your time and do it in a few sessions. The more carefully you fill it in, the better the first proposal fits.
Do you work across the Netherlands?
Yes. We meet on Teams, and after that we arrange everything by email or WhatsApp. Calling is fine too, preferably during the day. So it doesn’t matter where your business is.
