Questions about plastering

Something else about your walls or ceiling? A plasterer will give you a straight answer on the phone.

How long does plaster take to dry?

Allow a week per centimetre of thickness. Usually a wall is evenly light after one to two weeks. Then you can prime and paint.

Can we stay at home while you plaster?

Yes. We work with little dust, mask everything off and keep a walkway clear. Only the room we're working in is out of use for a few days.

Wallpaper-ready or paint-ready: what's the difference?

Wallpaper-ready is flat, but in raking light you can still see small marks. Paint-ready is so smooth that paint can go straight on. That costs €4 per m² more.

Do you come for just one small wall?

From 10 m² we're happy to come. For less we charge a fixed €250.

Which VAT rate do I pay?

On the site we calculate with 21%. If your home is two years old or more, the rate on our labour drops to 9%. Your price then comes out lower.

What do I need to prepare?

Empty the room as much as possible and take the nails out of the wall. Masking, priming and clearing up is our job.
