and the booth.
Glanspunt is the spray shop of Thirza and Harm Ploeger. Harm has been spraying for 22 years, first at a kitchen factory, now in our own booth on the Voorbeeldstraat. Thirza does the colour advice and the planning. The four of us spray about five kitchens a week, plus cabinets, tables and doors.
Why we spray rather than brush
Harm spent years on the spray line of a kitchen factory. Every week he saw kitchens that technically had years left in them, but were thrown out because people no longer liked the colour. A waste, he thought. In 2016 he rented a shed with a single spray wall and went it alone.
Now we have a proper booth, a drying zone and a colour showroom where Thirza helps you choose. Because you can't see the right colour on a screen. You only see it on a test panel, in your own kitchen light.

Showroom
Twenty colours in four gloss levels.
Every Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00. Feel free to bring a front from your own kitchen.
The workshop
Where your fronts spend a week.
Spray booth
7 × 4 metres, with positive pressure and filters in the ceiling and floor. Not a speck of dust on the lacquer.
Drying zone
Curing at 40 °C. That way the lacquer is hard enough to sand after one night.
Mixing system
We mix our own, in any RAL or NCS colour and the colours of well-known paint brands.
2K PU lacquer
The same lacquer kitchen factories use. Scratch-resistant, grease-resistant, odourless once dry.
How we work
From your first picture to adjusting the hinges. Five steps, usually in two weeks.

Send photos
An overview, a detail and the size of one front. Two working days later you know the price.

Choose a colour
A test panel in your colour and gloss level, for €25. We deduct that amount later.

Collection
We dismantle and take everything with us. Your kitchen stays usable, just without doors.
- 4
Spraying
Sanding, priming, sanding between coats and two coats of 2K lacquer. Curing at 40 °C.
- 5
Refitting
We hang everything back, adjust the hinges and leave no packaging behind.
