Book your spot
Which shoot, and when is your due date? That’s all Jorien needs to know to see if there’s room.

After you send it
- Jorien lets you know if there’s room around your date.
- An email with your date and a payment request for the €75 deposit.
- An email with tips: what to bring and how to prepare your baby that morning.
Questions parents-to-be often ask
Another question about your little one? Send it via WhatsApp to 06 12345678.
When should I book a newborn shoot?
Ideally around week 20 of your pregnancy. We put you in the diary on your due date. Once your baby has arrived, you send us a message and we schedule the shoot between day 5 and day 14.
What if my baby comes early or late?
Then the shoot simply moves with it. We keep room free every month for that. If your baby comes early and needs to stay in hospital a little longer, we’ll find a moment that suits you together.
Are all those poses really safe?
Yes. Jorien was a maternity nurse for years and took a course in safe newborn posing. Tricky poses are made as composite photos: there’s always a hand under the little head, which we remove later.
Is it warm enough for my baby?
The studio is kept at 26 degrees and the blankets lie on a heat pad. So feel free to bring a T-shirt for yourself.
When do I get the photos?
Two weeks after the shoot your photos are online, in your own gallery. There you choose your favourites and download them in high resolution. With the extended newborn shoot you get your birth announcement photo within two working days.
Can I have a shoot at home?
We sometimes do a family shoot at home, for a €35 call-out fee within Voorbeeldstad. Newborn shoots are studio only: it’s warm and quiet there, and everything is ready.
Can I give a shoot as a gift?
Yes, as a new-baby gift or for a first birthday. Vouchers start at €50 and are valid for twelve months.
