Lotte & Daan in the orchard

Lotte and Daan married among the apple trees of the orchard where Daan picked fruit as a child. No venue hall, but a long table under the trees, two sheep watching curiously by the gate and an uncle pouring his own cider.

Hi, I’m Carlijn

I’m Carlijn. I’ve been photographing weddings since 2014 and I still look at the light first and the camera second. You get photos in which you recognise yourself, not a stiff pose.

On your day I’m the guest with the camera who never gets in the way. I always carry two cameras and write to two memory cards at once, and by night everything is already on a second drive. So you don’t have to think about it.
