High tea on three tiers

You get a cake stand with savoury at the bottom, scones in the middle and sweet on top. With it you drink as much tea as you like for two and a half hours, from twelve kinds. Whatever you cannot finish goes home with you in a box.

Their own long table, two cupcakes each to decorate and then off to the play corner. Two hours of party for €19.50 per child.

Eighty south-facing seats. From eleven the terrace is in the sun, until about five. Want shade? Pick a table under a parasol.

From tables 1 to 6 you look straight at the play corner. Ask for one when you book.

Bringing a pushchair? Just wheel it in.

Step-free entrance, a baby changing table and six high chairs.

Dogs are welcome outside

Vivian started Het Zonnetje in 2009 in the old flower shop on Voorbeeldstraat. Her daughter Lenneke has baked all the cakes and scones since 2016, and Lenneke’s husband Gijsbert runs the coffee machine and the terrace.
