Lunchrooms, coffee bars and bakeries
Menu, opening hours and atmosphere at a glance, easy to find nearby. Four fictional businesses, four very different sites: from five pages to a site with more than ten pages. Whatever you come up with, we can make.
Koffiebar Bonenstaak
Coffee bar. This site reads like the menu sheet on the bar at Bonenstaak: first which beans are being ground today, when they were roasted and what’s on the table for lunch. The roast curve, the resting days and the colour of the bean show what sets a coffee bar with its own roaster apart from the rest.

Lunchroom. Het Zonnetje is all about the terrace, so you look down from above: the parasol is the logo, the floor plan shows where the sun falls and where the play corner is. Warm buttercup yellow, garden-chair green and raspberry jam, with a soft, rounded typeface: that’s what a sunny afternoon with the whole family feels like.

Bakery café. You open on the bakery’s dark worktop at half past four in the morning, dusted with flour, and one sentence: kneaded yesterday, baked this morning. Then you read the site like a bread board: for each loaf the flour, the recipe in baker’s percentages, the weight and the price, so you can taste the time that goes into it.

Artisan ice cream parlour. The site is laid out like the counter of an ice cream parlour: one big cone at the top, below it the display case with all the tubs and their flavour tags, and bands that melt into each other like ice cream. Creamy Yeseva One, sorbet colours and a button bar at the bottom you use with your thumb: so on a hot day you see at a glance whether we’re open and what’s in today.
