My four trades

Interior, exterior, wallpaper and wood rot. For each one you can read what I do and the minimum it costs.

Interior painting

Wallpaper and wall finishes

Glass-fibre lining, renovation fleece and ordinary wallpaper.

A wall with hairline cracks or an old layer becomes smooth again with glass-fibre lining or renovation fleece. Then I paint it in the colour you choose. If you've bought wallpaper yourself, I'll hang it, including a pattern that needs matching.

04

Wood rot and maintenance

Repairing rotten spots before you paint.

Wood rot is usually in the bottom corner of a frame or in the sill. I rout out the rotten wood and fill it with two-part wood filler. If it's too far gone, I splice in a new piece of wood. Then it goes into the lacquer round.

  • Price per spot
  • New hardwood sills
  • A maintenance round every year
Repair
Rotten wood out, two-part filler in
New wood
Hardwood for sills and large spots
Finish
Primed and included in the lacquer round
Maintenance

What I don't do

I'd rather do less, but do it well. For the work below I know tradespeople I can recommend.

  • PlasteringFilling cracks yes, plastering whole walls no.
  • uPVC framesThose need a spray booth, not a brush.
  • Four-storey facadesThat needs a cherry picker and a bigger team.
  • Lacquering floorsI leave that to a floor specialist.

Not sure what your wall or frame needs?

Send a picture with what you'd like. I'll tell you honestly whether a coat of paint will do, or whether it needs repairing first.
