Calm skin, with a clear plan

Skin therapy for acne, pigmentation, rosacea and scars. Medically grounded, calmly explained and often partly covered by your health insurer.

Welcome without a referral. You can often get an appointment within seven days.

01What a skin therapist does

Not a beautician, but a healthcare provider

We are degree-trained allied health professionals. We treat skin problems you've often had for years, and we're honest when something is pointless.

Protected title
You may only call yourself a skin therapist after completing the degree course. That's set out in the Wet BIG (Dutch healthcare professions act), article 34.
Kwaliteitsregister Paramedici
Every five years we show that we keep training and keep enough experience.
Member of the NVH
We follow the NVH guidelines for hygiene, light and laser.
Complaints procedure
Under the Wkkgz, with an independent complaints officer.
03Beneath the skin

Where each treatment does its work

Your skin is made of layers. A good treatment works at the right depth. That's how skin therapy differs from a facial.

12334 epidermis dermis subcutis
Cross-section of the skin, not to scale
  1. 1
    Peel

Works in the epidermis. Clears pores and loosens pigment.

  2. 2
    Acne treatment

At the pore and sebaceous gland, where inflammation starts.

  3. 3
    IPL and laser

Light that gently heats pigment and small blood vessels.

  4. 4
    Microneedling

Down into the dermis, where new collagen fills in scars.

04The course

Twelve weeks, four fixed moments

No random treatments on the off chance. The number of sessions, the price and the review are agreed beforehand.

  1. First visit

    Skin analysis

Half an hour with the dermatoscope and a conversation. You hear straight away what's achievable, and what isn't.

  2. After a week

    First treatment

We start in the clinic. To take home: a home plan of no more than three products.

  3. Weeks 4 to 8

    Treating and adjusting

A treatment every few weeks. We take photos under the same light and compare.

  4. After twelve weeks

    Review

We look back and agree how you'll keep the result, often with a few appointments a year.

05At home

No cupboard full of jars. Three at most.

What you do at home counts just as much as the treatment in the clinic. You take home a short, doable plan, with products you can also find at the chemist.

Three glass bottles of serum and a tube of sunscreen on travertine, with soft shadows from a window

Morning

  1. Mild cleanser
  2. Sunscreen, SPF 50

Evening

  1. Cleanse
  2. Your active ingredient
  3. A simple cream
06Reimbursement
