Beauty salons and nail studios
Atmosphere, treatments and prices, and quick online booking. Five fictional businesses, five very different sites: from five pages to a site with more than ten pages. Whatever you come up with, we can make.
Studio Glans
Beauty salon. You step into a spa, so the whole site is built around one shape: an arch, like a niche in a limestone wall with warm light inside. With every treatment a small arch fills up to the time you take for yourself, and the photo stays calmly in place while you read, just as you stay lying down while the treatment goes on.

Skin therapist. Text and a large photo side by side: instantly clear what happens and what it looks like. Light and open, with a clear, modern typeface.
See example →Nagelstudio Lak & Liefde
Nail studio. The opening is a collage of nails in four shapes, and the menu is a row of glossy polish swatches. Below that, tiles with colour numbers like on the bottle: you see straight away that it’s all about nails here, and that the work is done with care.
See example →Lash & Brow Bar Zijdezacht
Lash and brow studio. The name is big at the top, like the studio’s sign, with a row of closed lashes underneath. Then you first see Pleun herself: with lashes you choose a person, not a salon. The rest reads like a calm list, with a drawn eye and the set’s measurements for each look, so you see what you’re booking.
See example →Massagesalon Ademruimte
Massage and wellness. With a massage you mainly feel warmth, so this site warms up as you scroll: from the cold evening outside to the room at 24°, the oil at 38° and the stones at 52°. Sand tones, amber and basalt, a calm typeface and lots of space: you feel the calm before you’ve booked.
