What people often ask us

Do I need a referral?

No, you book an appointment yourself. Without a referral we do a short screening; that's part of the skin analysis. Some insurers only reimburse with a GP referral. Check your policy.

Is skin therapy covered by insurance?

Hardly ever by basic insurance. A supplementary policy often pays part of it, especially for acne, scars and camouflage. Fenneke is happy to check it with you beforehand.

What does the skin analysis cost?

The skin analysis takes 30 minutes and costs €45. If you start a course within four weeks, we deduct that amount from your first treatment.

How soon will I see a difference?

With acne usually after six to eight weeks. With pigmentation after two or three sessions. Scars need more patience, because new collagen grows slowly.

Does a treatment hurt?

An acne treatment can sting. IPL feels like an elastic band snapping against your skin. For microneedling we use a numbing cream.

Can I wear make-up afterwards?

After a peel or IPL, ideally not for 24 hours. Mineral make-up is usually fine. You get a list of what's allowed for each treatment.

Can I be treated in summer?

For acne and scars, yes. We prefer to plan pigmentation and IPL in autumn and winter, and never on tanned skin.

Do you also treat men and teenagers?

Yes, about a third of our clients are men. If you're under 16, bring a parent the first time.

Can I cancel?

Let us know at least 24 hours before your treatment and you pay nothing. After that a missed appointment costs €35, because we kept that time free for you.
