A kingfisher above your pond, the dog that is no longer with you, or a heron as tall as the reeds. We come and look, draw a sketch to scale and only make the sculpture once you are happy with the sketch.
It starts with looking
A bespoke sculpture does not start with the animal, but with the spot. How tall are the reeds? Where do you usually sit? Does the evening sun fall on it? Only when we know that do we choose the pose and the size.
Full size
Once you approve, we draw the animal in chalk on the barn floor, full size. Then we cut the plates, bend them into shape and weld them together. You are welcome to come and look when it is half done.
Your own animal
Your own dog, cat or horse is possible too. We then work from photos and, if possible, a visit to the workshop with the animal.

How many weeks does a bespoke sculpture take?
Allow six to ten weeks after you approve the sketch. Spring is busier, especially the six weeks before Mother’s Day.
What does a bespoke sculpture cost?
A bespoke owl or hare starts at around €650, a two-metre heron at around €2,450 and a life-size stag at around €6,900. You pay what is on the sketch. Nothing more.
Can you make my own animal?
Yes, your dog, horse or cat too. Send five to ten photos from the side, from the front and in the pose you like best.
Which animal is looking for a home in your garden?
Send a few photos of the spot and tell us which animal you have in mind. Two weeks later there is a sketch to scale, with the price on it.
