Crafts: from steel and clay to gold and glass
Craftsmanship on show, with custom requests. Four fictional businesses, four very different sites: from five pages to a site with more than ten pages. Whatever you come up with, we can make.
Atelier Staaldier
Metal artist. You open among tall grass: large photos, overlapping headings and a menu that sits in the opening like a rusted plate. Corten steel, welds and the weather set the colours, and every sculpture is shown life-size next to a person, so you feel straight away how big it will be in your garden.

Pottery and ceramics studio. This site reads like a magazine about the workshop, in the colours of its own glazes. In the middle of the homepage lies a speckled bowl seen from above: you see straight away that tableware is thrown by hand here.

Goldsmith. This site feels like a jewellery box: dark velvet, gleaming gold and in every chapter the hallmark Veerle stamps inside every ring. The photos stay put while you read, as if you’re sitting with her at the workbench, and at the bottom that workbench is really there: with the cut-out, the leather skin and the gold dust.

Stained-glass artist. This site is a stained-glass window itself: photos sit like panes in lead, the sidebar is the side light next to a 1930s front door and the working drawing with piece numbers shows how a window comes about. So you see the craft and the light before you’ve read a single line.
