Wedding photography

From the first button to the first dance.

A wedding day goes fast. You see half of it, I see the rest: the father standing alone in the garden for a moment, the niece falling asleep under the table, the light falling across the orchard at half past eight. I photograph the day as it unfolds, and only step in when needed.

Golden hour
  1. Getting ready and preparations

I start where you start: at the hairdresser, in the bridal suite or just at home. This is where the calmest photos of the day are taken, often by a window.

  2. Ceremony and toast

During the vows I don’t use flash and don’t walk down the aisle. I choose two spots beforehand and stay there.

  3. Group photos

With a list you fill in beforehand. Twenty minutes, then you’re free again.

  4. The couple shoot

Ideally around golden hour, fifteen to thirty minutes. I tell you where to stand, not how to look.

Is our date still free?

Often asked

How many photos do we get?

For 8 hours usually 500 to 650, for 12 hours 700 to 900. No duplicates and no failures.

Can we add a second photographer?

If you like. Useful with more than 120 guests or if you get ready in two places.

And if it pours that day?

Then we find a shelter, a barn or a big umbrella. Rain light is soft and often beautiful.

Send me your date and the place. I’ll check my diary and let you know quickly if I can make it. Then we’ll have coffee, if you like.

This is an example: the form does not send anything.
