Garage in Voorbeeldstad · family garage since 1988 · BOVAG member · RDW-approved APK station

A family garage for two generations. Berend started in 1988 with one lift. Now his children Corné and Tjitske run the business, with four mechanics and four lifts.
“Here you know the mechanic working on your car. That’s how it should be.”
Berend Siebring started in 1988 with one lift in an old barn on Voorbeeldstraat. Today his son Corné and daughter Tjitske run the garage, with four lifts and four mechanics. Berend still comes in every Friday for the APKs, and to check the tools are hanging neatly on the wall.
We’re not a dealer and don’t want to be. Every make is welcome, we know our customers by name, and if a part can last another year, we’ll tell you. That’s why people come back, and often their children too.
Berend Siebring rents an old barn on Voorbeeldstraat and puts in one second-hand lift.
The customer base grows. Berend extends the barn and joins BOVAG.
The garage becomes an RDW-approved inspection station. Since then we inspect cars ourselves, while you wait.
Corné gets his inspector’s qualification, Tjitske takes over the desk and the used cars.
Four lifts under one roof, an alignment bay and a glass wall to the waiting area.
Four mechanics, three courtesy cars, one family. And Berend, every Friday.
Six people: one family and three colleagues who’ve stayed so long they belong.

The RDW (Dutch vehicle authority) checks our inspection station and our inspectors. Corné and Inge keep their qualification up to date with exams every year.
There’s always an apprentice mechanic with us. Right now that’s Aniek. That way the area learns the trade, and the workshop stays sharp.
The coffee’s on at the desk. Look through the window into the workshop and ask Tjitske your questions.
