The workshop opens at 07:30. Here earlier? Put the key in the drop box next to the workshop door. Write your name and phone number on the little envelope hanging beside it.
How we work
From handing over the key to driving away. This is how a day in our workshop goes, and what you can expect from us.
An ordinary Tuesday
Your car’s day
The times are an example of a major service. An APK is done in about 45 minutes; a big repair can take a day longer. Whatever it is, you always know where your car is.

Hand over the key
Drive up to the workshop door and give the key to Tjitske. Here before half seven? Then put the key in the drop box next to the door. If you’ve booked a courtesy car, it’s ready for you.

On the lift
Your car goes up on the lift. We do what we agreed and meanwhile check brakes, tyres, leaks and suspension. Anything we notice, we photograph.
- 10:30
We call first
See something that wasn’t in the booking? Then a photo from under the lift and a price go to your phone. You decide. If you don’t want it, we leave it and note it on the work order for next time.
- 15:00
Until it clicksclick
Wheel bolts are tightened with the torque wrench until it clicks. A second mechanic checks the work and we take a short test drive.
- 16:30
Collection
At the desk we go through the work with you. The invoice matches the work order, to the cent. Want to see the old parts? They’re in your boot.
Why the torque wrench?
Every bolt on your car has a set torque, in newton metres. Too loose, and a wheel can start to wobble. Too tight, and a bolt or brake disc distorts. So we never tighten by feel. The torque wrench clicks when it’s right, and then we stop.
That’s where our name comes from. And it’s how we want to treat you: exactly what’s needed, not a turn more.

Drop-off, waiting, pick-up
Courtesy car
Three courtesy cars, free by appointment. You only pay for fuel. Bring your driving licence.
Waiting
For an APK or a small job you can wait. There’s wifi and newspapers, and from your chair you can follow the work on the lift.
Collection
When your car is ready, you get a message or a call. Pick-up is until 17:30. Pay by card or phone.
