All 24 tubs from the display

This is what the display looks like between March and October. Twelve cream ice flavours, eight sorbets and four specials. The flavour of the month changes.

Cream ice

Twelve flavours made with fresh whole milk and cream from Kloosterweide farm, eight kilometres away.

  • Fior di latte

Just milk, cream and a little sugar. The flavour we start with every morning.

  • Vanilla pod

Madagascan vanilla, the black specks are the seeds from the pod.

  • Stracciatella

Fior di latte with dark chocolate that we pour in while churning.

  • Pistachio

Made from Sicilian pistachio paste, no colouring. That is why it is olive green, not bright green.

  • Hazelnut

Roasted hazelnuts from Piedmont, coarsely ground.

  • Dark chocolate

Seventy per cent cocoa. Deep, not too sweet.

  • Salted caramel

Our own caramel, with a pinch of sea salt and a sauce rippled through.

  • Stroopwafel

With chunks of stroopwafel from bakery Elzinga, three doors down.

  • Yoghurt honey

Fresh whole yoghurt with a ribbon of honey from beekeeper Klaver.

  • Coffee

Espresso from roastery De Boon, cold brewed.

  • Rum raisin

Raisins soaked in rum for three days. For the grown-ups.

  • Tiramisu

Mascarpone, coffee and ladyfingers, dusted with cocoa.

Sorbets

Eight sorbets of fruit, water and sugar. All dairy-free and egg-free, so vegan.

  • Lemonv

Juice and zest of fresh lemons. Fresh, sharp and dairy-free.

  • Raspberryv

    Whole raspberries, seeds and all.

  • Mangov

Alphonso mango, ripe and almost drinkable.

  • Strawberry basilv

Dutch strawberries with a few leaves of fresh basil.

  • Blood orangev

    From Sicily, while they last.

  • Blueberryv

Blueberries and a splash of lemon.

  • Watermelon mintv

The lightest flavour in the display, for the hottest days.

  • Chocolate sorbetv

Dark chocolate with water instead of milk. Vegan, and still rich.

What is in it?

We make everything ourselves, so we know the ingredients of every tub. At the counter there is an allergen chart for each flavour. Ask for it and we will grab a clean scoop.

In our workshop we use milk, egg, nuts, peanuts and gluten. So we can never fully rule out traces. Severely allergic? Give us a call before you come.

  • Sorbets: no milk or egg
  • Gluten-free cones
  • Two flavours without added sugar
  • No artificial colourings
