Will you apply for planning permission for me?
Yes. We make the building drawing, have the structure calculated and submit the application to the council. You only sign. The council sends the fees directly to you.
Do I actually need planning permission?
A rear extension up to four metres deep is often allowed without. It depends on your plot and the zoning plan. Yvonne checks it before any drawing is made.
Can we stay at home during the build?
With an extension almost always. We close up the extension first and only break through the wall after that. With a full renovation we discuss together whether living elsewhere for a few weeks is smarter.
What if there's extra work?
Then Mats calls you, with the price. Only once you sign does the trowel go in.
How many months ahead should I call?
For an extension or renovation three to five months, because of the drawing and permission. A bathroom usually fits into the schedule within six to eight weeks.
Do you also work outside Voorbeeldstad?
Yes, up to about 25 kilometres around the workshop. That way Mats can get to you quickly from the workshop.
