Contractors and carpenters
Local findability, a portfolio of renovations and quote requests. Four fictional businesses, four very different sites: from five pages to a site with more than ten pages. Whatever you come up with, we can make.
Houtvast Timmerwerk
Carpentry firm. This site tells a carpenter’s story in chapters, starting from a large photo of the work itself. Jacco is the face with his pencil notes, the chapter numbers have the growth rings of wood and the dovetail is the trademark: so you feel the craft, and see straight away what it costs and who will turn up.

Contractor. A site board and a real weekly schedule at the heart of the site: navy blue and signal yellow on drawing paper, with lettering like on a building site. You see straight away what happens when and roughly what it costs.

Interior joiner. A wide photo strip with the heading below: calm and clear. Light and open, with a classic serif typeface.

Roofer. This site reads like a roof, from ridge to gutter: bands of fired clay, bitumen with slate chippings and standing-seam zinc, and at the top a street full of roofs in which you recognise your own house. So you see at a glance that a roofer works here, with honest prices per m² and emergency help always within reach.
