Request a design meeting
An alcove, a kitchen, a table? Jot down briefly what you have in mind. Geert calls you back to set up a meeting, at your home or here at the workbench. That meeting is free.

Asked at the workbench
01What does a design meeting cost?
Nothing. The introductory meeting and the first 3D drawing with a price cost you nothing. Only once you agree do you pay 30% up front.
02When will my furniture be in?
Allow two to two and a half months after you agree. A single table is quicker, a kitchen takes longer. You hear the fitting date when you place the order.
03Which woods do you use?
Mainly oak, American walnut and ash, all FSC or PEFC certified. For the inside of cupboards we use birch plywood. Other woods are possible by arrangement.
04Can you work from my architect's drawing?
Yes. We then check the drawing, turn it into a working drawing and think along about joints and fittings.
05Is the price really fixed?
Yes. The price in the quote includes materials, making, fitting and VAT. Only if you want to change something after we've measured up do we charge that separately.
06Can I visit the workshop?
Please do. On Saturdays by appointment. You'll see the wood samples and work in progress. Weekdays are possible too, but then the machines are running.
07How long is the guarantee?
25 years on the construction: joints, glue lines and carcasses. On fittings, runners and finish we give 2 years.
08Do you also work outside Voorbeeldstad?
Yes, up to about 50 kilometres around the workshop. Sometimes further, for example for a big kitchen. Give us a call and we'll work out the travel costs.
