Built-in cupboards
Every centimetre used. We make cupboards that fit your space exactly, with the layout you need.
The space under a staircase, in an alcove next to the chimney breast or under a sloping roof is slightly different in almost every house. A shop-bought cupboard never fits there. We measure to the millimetre and make the cupboard so it fits snugly against uneven walls and ceilings. Drawers run on full-extension runners, doors close softly.

A kitchen that suits the character of your home and lasts thirty years. Made in our workshop, with the worktop you choose.
One of our kitchens has units in solid wood or oak veneer on a sturdy plywood carcass, not chipboard. We design the kitchen around how you cook: where the pans go, how high the worktop should be and where the dishwasher is handiest. You can choose appliances and tap yourself or have us supply them.

A table you'll sit at for years. Solid wood, in the size and finish you choose.
A table starts with the board. You pick your own trunk in the workshop, we saw, glue and plane the top and make the base to go with it: wooden legs, a trestle or a steel frame from a local smith. We make desks, sideboards and coffee tables the same way.

A wall unit brings calm and space. With open shelves, small doors and hidden lighting.
A wall-to-wall bookcase or a TV wall where all the cables disappear. We build the wall unit in sections on the workbench and assemble it at your home in one day. Skirting and mouldings run through, so it looks as if it's always been part of the house.

Finish
Oil
Water-based hardwax oil. Matt, warm and easy to touch up. Our advice for tables.
Lacquer
Matt, scratch-resistant lacquer. Wipe with a damp cloth, great for kitchen fronts.
Colour
White oil, stain or a coat of paint in any RAL colour, for anyone who wants the wood lighter or darker.
Fittings
Handleless
Push-to-open or a routed grip in the door.
Wooden handle
In the same wood as the cupboard, turned or cut by us.
Brass or black
Classic fittings, chosen from a local supplier.
