Request a roof inspection

We come round, climb onto the roof and email you the photos. The price follows by email three working days later.

What kind of roof is it?

This is an example: the form does not send anything.

Questions about your roof

Another roof problem? Give us a call. Sometimes it can wait, sometimes it has to be today.

Can you work when it's raining?

Small repairs and an emergency seal, yes. Opening up a roof or torching on bitumen waits for a dry day. That's why we plan with some leeway and call you if things shift.

Do I need to take time off when you come?

For the inspection, yes please, then we can also take a look in the loft. During the work, no: we only need the outside.

Bitumen or EPDM: which is better?

Both are good. Bitumen is strong and can be walked on. EPDM is light and lasts a long time under solar panels or a green roof. We advise per roof, not per supplier preference.

How many years does a new roof last?

A tiled roof sixty years or more, bitumen and EPDM thirty to forty years, zinc forty to fifty years. With a check every few years, you'll get there too.

Will my insurance pay for the leak?

For storm damage often yes, for wear and tear usually not. We provide photos and a description of the damage. You use those to report it to your insurer.

Is scaffolding needed?

For most jobs, no. A ladder hoist and fall protection are enough. If we renew the whole roof, scaffolding goes up. That's then included in the price.
