Learning to throw

From your first time at the wheel to free throwing with your own place.

Introductory throwing workshop

2.5 hours · max. 6 €85

Your first time at the wheel. You throw a few bowls and choose two to have fired and glazed.

Throwing course

6 evenings of 2.5 hours · max. 6 €345

Including 10 kg of clay, glaze and two firings. Missed one? You make up the class on another evening.

Throwing course, follow-on

6 evenings · max. 6 €365

For those who can already centre. Bigger shapes, lids, handles and spouts.

Weekend throwing course

2 days, 10:00 – 16:00 · max. 5 €325

Saturday throwing, Sunday trimming and glazing. Lunch, coffee and tea included.

Open studio

per half day · after a course €24

A regular place at the wheel, without a class. You buy clay from us; firing is charged per kilo. Ten sessions: €210.

Private lesson

2 hours · 1 or 2 people €140

All the attention on you, at a time that suits you. For two, you pay the same.

Before you book

What’s included, and what isn’t

Included with classes. Clay, tools, apron, glaze and two firings. Coffee and tea are ready for you.

Extra firing. Making more than the price covers? Then we charge €8 per kilo of fired work.

Gift voucher. An amount of your choice or a complete workshop. Valid for twelve months, from the shop or by email.

Cancelling. Up to two weeks beforehand you get your money back. After that someone else can take your place.

Collecting. Your work is ready after about three weeks. We’ll send you a message.

Missed a class? On the throwing course you make it up on another evening, if there’s room.
