Repairs, new work, prices

Repair, make new, keep warm. And learn it yourself.

Four kinds of work, with the prices. For restoration, size and the number of pieces count, which is why you always see a “from” price. After a photo we give you the exact price.

Restoration

Your transom or sidelight re-leaded, with its own glass.

Lead lasts about a hundred years. After that a panel bulges, starts to rattle or lets water in. We take the panel out, dismantle it completely in the studio and re-lead the glass. We replace broken pieces with old glass of the same colour and thickness from our own glass bank. So you get your own window back, just straight and watertight again.

  • Rubbing of the old lead
  • Your own glass is kept
  • Temporary pane in the meantime

Six kinds of glass, hundreds of colours

Never choose glass from a photo. Drop by on Saturday and we’ll hold the sheets up to the light for you.

Lead worn out, or just a crack?

Send a photo from inside, with daylight behind it. Then we’ll tell you whether it’s a repair, a restoration or secondary glazing, and what price to expect.
