The truck doesn't have a fixed spot. You can taste at one of the markets; the schedule is on Instagram from March.
What happens after your request
- One working day later you know whether the date is free, with the price.
- Happy? Once you've paid a quarter as a deposit, we block the day.
- Two weeks ahead you tell us how many mouths are really coming. Until then it can still change.
- After the party the invoice follows, payable within two weeks.
Cancelling up to 30 days ahead only costs the deposit.
Does the truck fit your spot?

Frequently asked questions
How much space does the truck take up?
Six by three metres, on level ground, plus two metres of walking space in front of the hatch. Grass is fine as long as it's not waterlogged. An access route at least 2.5 metres wide and 3 metres high.
Do you need power?
An ordinary socket (16 amps) within 25 metres keeps the fridge and the lights going. The oven burns wood. No power nearby? For €45 we hook a quiet generator up behind the truck.
Does it go ahead in the rain?
Yes, we just keep baking. The truck has an awning over the hatch. For your guests a tent or shelter nearby is nice; we don't need to supply that.
Can the truck stand indoors?
No, a wood-fired oven belongs outside. The truck can stand outside the door of a shed or hall, though; we then bring the pizzas inside on boards.
Do you do vegan and gluten-free?
The Marinara and the Vegana are vegan and are cut on their own board. Gluten-free bases are possible, but the oven itself is not gluten-free. If you have coeliac disease, honestly, we wouldn't risk it.
What's the minimum number of guests?
From 25 adults. Children under 4 eat free, from 4 to 12 you pay half.
How far do you travel?
All over the Netherlands. The first 40 kilometres from Voorbeeldstad are free, after that we charge €0.95 per kilometre, one way.
When should I book?
Summer Saturdays go first: book those six months ahead. On a weekday or out of season a month is often enough.
