Come and have a look first.
What parents often ask us.
Something else about your child? Call us; we will explain how it works, without jargon.
Is it covered?
Yes. Up to age 18, children’s physiotherapy is part of basic insurance: 9 treatments a year, with a second set of 9 if needed. The excess does not apply. We send in the bill ourselves.
Do I have to see the GP first?
No. You can simply call yourself. First there is a fifteen-minute screening: is children’s physiotherapy right, or is the GP a better fit? Did you get a note from your GP, baby clinic or paediatrician? Bring it along.
Do I need to be there?
Please. Always with babies and young children, with older children by agreement. What you see in the gym, you can easily repeat at home.
What should my child bring?
Comfortable clothes to climb and crawl in. Shoes come off in the gym. For babies, a muslin cloth and a toy your child knows.
How much time does an appointment take?
The first meeting takes an hour, a treatment half an hour. Six to ten treatments are usually enough.
Do you also come to school or home?
Yes. We often see babies up to a year old at home. For handwriting or PE, we also treat at school, if the teacher agrees.
How soon can we come in?
Often the week after you call. After school is busier, so if you can book in the morning, it is often even quicker.
Until your child turns 18, the insurer pays.
No upfront payment, no paperwork. Dealing with your insurer is our job.
