Notice this at home?
Then your ventilation isn't refreshing the air well enough.
- Misted-up windows in the morning
- A musty smell or mould in the bathroom
- Headaches or poor sleep in a closed bedroom
- A ventilation unit that hums or rattles
- After insulating: damp that lingers
What does an MVHR unit do?
The stale air going out warms the fresh air coming in. That way you keep up to 90% of the heat inside, while your home still breathes.

Questions about ventilation
Why ventilation when you make your home greener?
A well-insulated home is airtight. Without good ventilation, damp and CO₂ linger. An MVHR unit refreshes the air and keeps the heat inside.
How often do the filters need replacing?
About twice a year. You can do it yourself. At the yearly service we clean the unit and balance it again.
