Thirty years on your roof, in eight moments

This is the life of an average solar roof with us. On the right you always see the balance: what you've paid and what your roof has already brought in. Calculated without salderen (net metering), because that ends on 1 January 2027.

  1. Week 0

    The roof scan

We come and look. Direction, shade, tiles, fuse box and your usage. You get a layout and a calculation without salderen, because that scheme ends on 1 January 2027.

    A new inverter

  7. Year 25

    Still 87 per cent

    And after that

Many panels keep going for years. When they're really worn out, they're collected and recycled. Glass, aluminium and silicon get a second life.

Worked example: 10 panels of 440 Wp on a south-facing roof, 4,000 kWh a year, €4,600 including fitting, electricity price €0.28 per kWh, 35 per cent used directly, feed-in payment €0.06 per kWh, a new inverter in year 13. We calculate your roof separately.

The Zonnedak Installaties team, nine people in dark blue workwear, in front of their van with ladder rack in a residential street

Whoever is on your roof works for us

Zonnedak Installaties started in 2011 from a barn, with a ladder rack on an old van. Maaike Hazenberg was an electrical engineer and felt solar panels deserved better than a salesman at the door. Now the company has nine people: three in-house fitting teams, a service engineer and a planner. Whoever is on your roof works for us.

About us

What can your roof do?

A roof scan costs nothing. Five working days later we email a layout and an honest calculation, even if the answer is that it doesn't pay off for you.
