About us
Zonnedak Installaties started in 2011 from a barn, with a ladder rack on an old van. Maaike Hazenberg was an electrical engineer and felt solar panels deserved better than a salesman at the door. Now the company has nine people: three in-house fitting teams, a service engineer and a planner. Whoever is on your roof works for us.
Fifteen years, ever stronger panels
Our first roof had eight panels of 240 Wp. The same eight spots now produce almost twice as much. Each bar is one panel from that year.

Eight blue panels with a silver frame on a terraced house in the Molenbuurt. Maaike did everything herself.

The first permanent fitter, Sjoerd, and our own shed on Voorbeeldstraat.

Full-black becomes standard
Silver frames disappear from the roofs. And the thousandth roof in the area.

Thom joins, for faults and inverters. Also on panels we didn't fit.

The first batteries in the utility room. And 0% VAT on solar panels for homes.

Nine people, no subcontractors
Three fitting teams, a service engineer and a planner. All employed by us, VCA certified and trained for working at height. Here are four of them.

What we stick to
- No door-to-door salespeople. Whoever does the roof scan knows how the roof is fitted.
- Calculating without salderen. Since 2025, so nobody gets a shock later.
- Saying no is allowed. If it doesn't pay off for you, you'll hear it.
- Tidying up. No bits of cable in your gutter, no broken tiles in your garden.
