What clients ask at the basin
Anything else about colour or curls? Send a message, however small.
How long does a balayage take?
Set aside an afternoon: 2½ to 3 hours with toner and blow-dry. Adding a cut? Add thirty minutes.
Is your colour really vegan?
Yes. All our colours are vegan, ammonia-free and not tested on animals. They hardly smell either.
Do I need an allergy test?
Yes, if it’s your first time colouring with us. You pop in for five minutes 48 hours before for a small test behind your ear. It’s free.
Can I still come after work?
On Thursday and Friday we’re open until 21:00. The last colour appointment starts at 18:00, the last haircut at 20:15.
How should I come to a curl appointment?
With dry, detangled hair, worn loose and without fresh product. Bring your own pots and bottles: we’ll test them on your curls.
Can I go from dark to blonde in one go?
Usually not. We never go more than three levels lighter in one appointment, because your hair will break. You’ll come in two or three times, six weeks apart each time.
And if I’m not happy with the colour?
Let us know within seven days. We’ll sit down by the window again and correct it for free.
What if something comes up?
A message up to a day before is enough, and it’s free. Cancelling later or not showing up costs you 50% of what you booked.
