Colour, cuts and curls

Four treatments, each with its own approach. Below you’ll find how we work, how long you’re in the chair and the starting price.

One balayage strand up close: dark roots blending softly into caramel and honey blonde

Balayage

Painted by hand, so the colour blends softly and grows out nicely.

With balayage we paint the colour onto your hair with a brush, strand by strand. No foil is involved, or just a little around your face. The result is a soft gradient: darker at the root, lighter at the ends. Just like hair gets naturally in summer.

You see the big advantage later. Because there’s no hard line, a balayage grows out gently. Most clients come back after about three months, some only after six. In between, a toner or gloss keeps the colour fresh. We protect your hair with a bond treatment while lightening, so it stays strong.

  • Hand-painted with a brush
  • Toner and blow-dry included
  • Only needs a touch-up after about three months

Highlights

Light and depth in your hair, fine or chunky, with foil for a bright result.

We do highlights with foil. That makes them lighter than a balayage, and the light runs right up to the root. Fine highlights give a sunny, even look. Chunkier strands stand out more.

With lowlights, a few darker strands in between, blonde hair gets its depth back. A half head is the top and your parting. A full head is everything, including the lower layers. Not sure? At the colour consultation we hold the swatches against your own hair, so you see the difference.

  • Half or full head
  • Lowlights for depth too
  • Touch-up after eight to ten weeks

Cut and style

A cut that suits your face, and that you can style yourself at home.

We start by looking. At the shape of your face, how your hair falls and how much time you have in the morning. Only then do the scissors come out, and we explain why at every step.

It’s the same for men and women: wash, cut, blow-dry or style, and a tip for home. You can also book a haircut on its own, without colour. Just a blow-dry for a party or a dinner? That takes thirty minutes.

  • Women, men and children
  • Wash and blow-dry included
  • Also just a blow-dry for a party

Curls

Cut dry, curl by curl, for every curl type from 2A to 4C.

We cut curly hair dry. That way we see how each curl falls and springs, and we keep every centimetre that carries your curl. Then we wash and style your hair without a brush.

Your first visit takes a bit longer. We go through your routine: washing, conditioning, styling and drying. You take it home on paper, with the products your curl type needs. Men with curls and children are welcome too.

  • Cut dry in your own curl pattern
  • Sulphate- and silicone-free
  • Your home routine on paper

Balayage or highlights?

Both make your hair lighter. They differ in effect and in how they grow out.
