Hair loss has many causes, and every situation needs something different. Start where you are now.

How your first appointment goes

An hour, free, without buying anything. Many people are nervous about that first time. That’s fine, and it passes quickly.

First

Your own door, and Jolien opens it

No shop window, no waiting room, no other clients. You park by the side door and Jolien opens it herself. Feel free to bring someone: there are two chairs ready.

Then

Coffee, and a talk first

What’s going on, what do you expect, how do you wear your hair now? You don’t need to know anything about hairpieces. That’s what we’re here for. We also look at your scalp.

Then

Trying on in front of the mirror

You try on calmly, as many as you like. Short, long, your own colour or something new. Nobody is watching except whoever you brought along.

And then

You only decide when you’re sure

You can have a hairpiece reserved free of charge for three weeks. Once you’ve decided, we arrange the authorisation and the claim with your health insurer.

Your hair will come back.
We’ll be with you every step of the way.

Chemo is temporary, and so is your hairpiece. This is how the road usually looks, from the first treatment to the first cut of your own hair.

  1. Before the first treatment

    Come and meet us. We can still see your own hair and get a hairpiece ready for you.

  2. Day 14 to 21

    Your hair starts to go. One phone call, and we shave it off together. Here or at your home.

  3. During treatment

    Your hairpiece for going out, a soft cap for home and at night. We take care of maintenance.

  4. Weeks after the last treatment

    The first soft fuzz. Often softer and sometimes curlier than before.

  5. A few months later

    A short style of your own. Your last appointment with us: we cut your own hair.

Every treatment is different. With some treatments hair doesn’t fall out, or only partly. Then we adapt the plan to that.

You can tell a good hairpiece by what you don’t see

It’s all on the inside: what the hair is attached to and how the base sits on your head. Three things we always look at.

Lace front

A fine tulle edge with every hair knotted individually. The hairline blends into your skin, even when you wear your hair back.

Monofilament parting

A thin, skin-coloured mesh on top. Your scalp seems to show through, so your parting looks real.

Soft inner edge

A soft cotton edge on the inside. Comfortable if chemo has made your scalp sensitive.

We cut every hairpiece to shape on your own head. Only then does it fall the way your hair would.

Basic insurance 2026

up to €497.50

for a hairpiece for medical hair loss, plus often €75 to €500 if you have supplementary insurance.

  1. Your doctor writes an authorisation. Your oncologist, dermatologist or nurse specialist.
  2. We claim directly. Every insurer has a contract with us.
  3. You only pay the difference. You hear that amount before you choose.
