A hairpiece for what you’re going through

Chemo is temporary, alopecia often isn’t, and thinning hair needs something different again. That’s why every hairpiece with us starts with the question of what’s going on for you.

Woman in her early fifties with short greying hair looking at herself in the mirror with her new shoulder-length hairpiece, seen over her shoulder, her face in the mirror, a cautious happy smile, soft light

The first moment with your new hair: calmly, in front of the big mirror.

Temporary hair loss

Hairpiece during chemotherapy

Being ready before your hair starts to go.

Ideally come before your first treatment. Then we can still see your own hair: the colour, the crown, how you wear it. Together we find a hairpiece that stays close to that, or a style you’ve always fancied. We get it ready for you. When your hair starts to go, you call and we shave it off together, here or at your home.

  • Introductory meeting before the first treatment
  • Hairpiece reserved free for three weeks
  • Shaving together, door closed
  • Sleep cap and scalp care included

Two hands up close styling a hairpiece on a fabric block head with a brush, the fine monofilament parting clearly visible, soft daylight, warm tones

Every hairpiece is styled on a block head first and then on your head.

Permanent hair loss

Hairpiece for alopecia

For years, so it really has to be yours.

With alopecia you often wear a hairpiece for years. Then every detail counts: a parting that looks like your own scalp, a hairline nobody notices, a fit that stays put when you exercise or swim. We work with monofilament, lace fronts and real hair, and cut everything to shape on your head. We make extra time for children and teenagers.

  • Monofilament and lace front
  • Real hair or high-quality synthetic
  • For children and teenagers too
  • Regular maintenance in the studio
For whom
Alopecia areata, totalis and universalis, children too
Delivery time
Ready-made straight away, custom in two to three months

Portrait of Jolien, a woman of about fifty with a short ash-blonde cut (a natural hairpiece), sitting on a linen chair in a bright private studio, soft morning light from the side, warm open smile, calm background with a shelf of hairpieces on wooden block heads

Jolien wears a monofilament hairpiece herself. She’s happy to show you how it sits.

Thinning hair

Toppers for thinning hair

More volume on top, with your own hair around it.

Is your hair getting thinner at the crown or along your parting? Then a topper is often enough. It’s a hairpiece you attach to your own hair with small clips. Your own hair falls over it, so you can’t see the join. We colour and cut the topper in, so it keeps its shape alongside your own hair.

  • Clips that spare your own hair
  • Colour and cut matched to your own hair
  • Synthetic or real hair
  • We show you how to attach it yourself
For whom
Thinner hair at the crown or along the parting
Delivery time
Usually after ten to fourteen days

Bright private hairpiece studio: one salon chair in front of a large round mirror, linen curtain at the window, a plant, hairpieces on wooden block heads on a shelf, morning light, no other clients

Caps, scarves and sleep caps are ready to try on in the studio.

For home and after

Caps, scarves and aftercare

For home, for night-time and for later.

Not everyone wants to wear a hairpiece all the time. That’s why we have soft bamboo caps, scarves you tie in one go and sleep caps for a sensitive scalp. And after you buy, you’re still welcome: for washing and styling, a small repair, or just a question.

  • Bamboo caps and sleep caps
  • Scarves, with how to tie them
  • Maintenance service in the studio
  • A trim when your own hair comes back
For whom
Everyone, even if you bought your hairpiece elsewhere

Real hair or synthetic?

Almost every client asks this. There’s no right or wrong: it depends on how long you’ll wear it and how much time you want to spend on care.

Measured to fit, with a soft tape

For a custom hairpiece we measure your head in four places. Five minutes’ work, and it feels like a hairdresser combing your hair.

  1. A

    Circumference

Around your head, along the hairline and just above your ears. On average 54 to 57 cm.

  2. B

    Forehead to nape

From your hairline above your forehead, over the crown, down to your nape.

  3. C

    Ear to ear

Over the head from the top of one ear to the other.

  4. D

    Temple to temple

Around the back of the head, from temple to temple.

For custom work we also make a mould of your head, with cling film and tape. That way the hairpiece sits firmly even with alopecia totalis, without pinching.

No idea which hairpiece? Of course not, not yet.

We work that out together at the introductory meeting. Free, and you buy nothing you’re unsure about.
