Fees and insurance, from 1 January 2026
What a treatment costs
What you pay and what your insurer covers. All on one page.
The amounts
This is what you pay if you pay yourself. If you have supplementary cover, I send the bill to your insurer myself.
| What | Duration | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Intake and assessment | 60 min | € 72,50 |
| Treatment | 30 min | € 49 |
| Long treatment | 60 min | € 92 |
| Surcharge for treatment at home | per visit | € 27,50 |
| Workstation assessment with report | 90 min | € 165 |
| Missed appointment | € 39 |
Treatment at home is possible if travelling really isn’t an option; for that, insurers usually ask for a note from your GP. The workstation assessment is incl. 21% VAT and is often paid by your employer.
What your insurer covers
You don’t need a referral. What does count: your age, your cover and sometimes your condition.
Under eighteen
Basic insurance
Nine treatments a year, nine more if needed. Doesn’t count towards your excess.
Supplementary insurance
From your supplementary cover
Your cover determines how many treatments you get. Exercise therapy usually comes out of the same pot as physiotherapy.
Chronic condition
Basic insurance from the 21st
If your condition is on the government list, you pay the first twenty treatments through your supplementary cover or yourself.
Arthritis of the hip or knee
Basic insurance
Twelve treatments per twelve months. Your excess does apply here.
Not or not enough cover
Paying yourself
You get one bill a month. A treatment costs €49.
Moving an appointment
Can’t make it? Let me know a day in advance, by message or voicemail. After that I charge €39, because I can no longer give that time to someone else. Your insurer doesn’t pay for that.
I have agreements with all the major health insurers. Unsure about your cover? Bring your policy to the intake and we will read it through together.
Questions about your cover?
Send me your insurer and your policy. I will check what it covers, whether you book or not.
