A garden scan, free and on your route day

Give us the basics. We'll see the rest on site. Rather call? Rutger or Xander picks up between half seven and half five.

What we look at during the garden scan

  • 1How deep your garden is and how you get in
  • 2How many metres of hedge, and what kind
  • 3Borders, lawn and paving
  • 4What you want to keep doing yourself

What people ask before they start

Does someone need to be home during a visit?

No. If we can get into the garden through a gate or round the back, we just carry on. Otherwise we agree on a key or a code.

And if it rains on my route day?

In light rain we keep working. In heavy rain, or if the grass is too wet to mow, we move to the next dry day that week.

Can I cancel?

Yes, monthly. After cancelling we only charge for the visits already done.

Do you take the green waste away?

Always. It goes in the trailer to a composting company. Your green bin stays free for kitchen waste.

Do you use weedkiller?

No. We hoe, brush the joints and flame-weed where needed. No glyphosate, not even on the drive.

What don't you do?

Fell trees taller than six metres, and lay paving. For that we're happy to give you a colleague's number.

How does payment work?

By monthly direct debit or by invoice, agreed in advance. One-off jobs you pay afterwards.

Do you prune in the nesting season too?

Light trimming is fine, but first we look between the branches for nests. If we find one, that section stays until the young have fledged.
