About us

Three arboristsfrom Voorbeeldstad.

Kruinwerk is a crew of three arborists from Voorbeeldstad. Hessel started in 2011 with a van, a rope and a saw. Now two of us climb and Jurre is on the lowering rope. We work for homeowners, owners' associations (VvE) and schools, and always with the same people.

Three arborists in chainsaw trousers with helmets under their arms by their van with coiled climbing ropes, in an avenue of tall trees

Hessel, Wietske and Jurre by the van. In the crates in the back: six climbing ropes, each with its own logbook.

Since 2011

A rope, a saw and a van.

As a child Hessel already climbed every tree in the street. After training in tree care he worked for eight years for a contractor in public green spaces, mostly for municipalities: avenues, parks, miles of roadside trees. Good work, but you never see the people who live under those trees.

In 2011 he started his own business, with the trees in back gardens. There's no room for big machines there, so you have to climb. In 2016 Wietske joined, who used to do climbing competitions. A year later came Jurre, who handles the stump grinder like a bicycle.

“The best job is a tree we don't have to fell.”Hessel Mulders

It stays just the three of us: we take on no job we can't do ourselves. So there's never an unknown crew in your garden.

  2. We come and lookWithin five working days we're at your tree. It costs nothing.
  3. Fixed price on paperThat same week we email the amount, with VAT, clean-up and removal included.
  4. The climbing dayWe cordon off, climb, saw and lower everything on ropes.
  5. Cleared upBefore we pack up, the branches are chipped and the path is swept.

In the back of the van
