How your visit goes
- 0–5 min
Choosing the height
Low, mid or high: together we draw the line where the fade begins. That decides the whole look.
- 5–25 min
Fading
Guard #0 to #3, and everything in between. With small movements we blend the transition until it flows.
- 25–35 min
Top
Scissors or clippers to length on top, so the fade and the top work as one.
- 35–40 min
Razor and lines
Outlines and neck with the razor, warm shaving foam and a cool aftershave.

Keeping it looking good
- 01
A skin fade stays really sharp for about two weeks. After that the transition grows in.
- 02
Book your touch-up when you pay: it’s cheaper and you keep your regular slot.
- 03
If your neck itches after the razor, apply a mild, unscented cream for a few days.
Questions
Often asked in the chair
Fade or taper, what’s the difference?
A fade runs up all around the head. A taper only shows skin at the ears and the neck; the rest stays longer.
Can you do a skin fade on curly or afro hair?
Absolutely. Isa works a lot with curly and afro hair and knows how the transition looks best in it.
Need a tidy-up?
