Questions

Frequently asked questions

Walk-ins, cancelling, paying, and whether that beer is really free. Something else? Send the shop a message.

Quick answer

06 12345678

You can call or message six days a week. If we’re cutting, you’ll hear from us after that client.

Appointments and walk-ins

Can I walk in without an appointment?

Yes. There’s always one chair for walk-ins. On Tuesday and Wednesday mornings you’re usually seated within fifteen minutes. On Saturdays it’s smart to book.

How do I book a chair?

Through the form on the contact page, by message or by phone. You choose your barber, or say you don’t mind.

I can’t make it. What now?

Cancel by the day before at the latest, that’s free. If you don’t show up without letting us know, €15 is added to your next haircut.

I’m running late.

Just send a message. Up to ten minutes usually still works; after that we’ll see if we can fit you in later.

Haircuts and beards

How quickly does a fade grow out?

After two, at most three weeks, if you want to keep it really sharp. Within three weeks you pay the touch-up rate of €22.

Do you cut curly and afro hair too?

Definitely. Isa specialises in it, and we have the right products in the shop.

Do you cut women’s hair too?

We’re happy to do short cuts, pixies and undercuts. For colour and long hair you’re better off at a hair salon.

I’m growing a beard. When should I come in?

After four weeks or so. Then we set the lines and it keeps growing in shape.

Paying and the rest

Can I pay by card?

Card, contactless and cash. No credit cards.

Do you have a student discount?

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday you get a haircut for €27 with your student card.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes. Choose €25 or more, or put a whole treatment on it. Valid for twelve months.

Is that beer really free?

With every treatment, one cold beer or a coffee from roastery De Ketel, two streets away. Beer for over-18s only.

And if I come by car?

On the square behind the shop (paid) or free in the streets past the bridge. Bikes can go against the front by the barber pole.

Need a tidy-up?

Book your chair with Adriaan, Isa or Gerda, or just walk in. The beer is cold.
