Second generation, one steady crew
Kleurecht started in 1987 with one van. Now sixteen craftspeople work here, in two crews, from our own yard on the Voorbeeldstraat.
Why we do what we do
Corné Jongsma worked for years as an employed painter and one thing annoyed him: after handover, nobody ever came back to look. So he started his own business, and he did come back. We still do.
Dorien took over the business in 2018. She added the long-term plans and the fixed check-up after three years. Corné is still here every Friday, at the yard, with coffee and comments.
We don't take on work we can't do with our own people. We'd rather start later than hire in.

Corné Jongsma starts out with a van full of ladders and his first customer on the Lindelaan.
- 1995
The first VvE: three walk-up blocks in Voorbeeldstad-Noord. They're still customers.
- 2004
Our own workshop and yard on the Voorbeeldstraat. Dorien joins.
- 2012
Approved training company. Since then there have been two apprentices in the crew every year.
- 2018
Dorien takes over the business. Corné stays, on Fridays.
- 2021
Indoors we only use water-based paint now.
- 2026
Sixteen craftspeople, two crews and over forty owners' associations with an MJOP from us.

Working at Kleurecht
We're always looking for good painters and apprentices who want to learn the trade. You get a permanent contract, your own workwear and a foreman who helps you grow. Send an email to [email protected] or drop by the yard.
