A small practice with its own insole workshop.

Yfke Huisman started the practice in 2011, on Voorbeeldstraat. She wanted a place where you don’t walk out after ten minutes with a standard insole. That is why we measure first, make the insoles ourselves and you see the same podiatrist again at the follow-up check.

Why we work this way

Most complaints are not complicated. But they do need a good look. That is why we set aside forty-five minutes for a first assessment, not twenty.

And because we make the insoles ourselves, Dorien can adjust them the same day if something pinches. No sending away, no waiting for weeks.

The workshop

Hands of an insole maker sanding a freshly milled insole with a navy top layer and cork-coloured base, fine dust drifting in the lamplight, workbench and milling machine blurred behind

A 3D scanner, a milling machine, a sanding machine and a long workbench with glue, leather and cork.

Every insole starts as a block of EVA. The machine mills the shape from your scan, then Dorien finishes it by hand: sanding until it fits your shoe, adding the corrections, covering it with the top layer.

  • Design and milling in-house
  • Adjustments while you wait
  • Leftover material goes to a recycling company

Start with the assessment.

Forty-five minutes, with the pressure measurement and a video of how you walk. After that, the cause of your complaint is clear, and so is the price.
