What it is about

Many complaints start with how your foot meets the ground. Heel pain with the first steps, a burning feeling under the ball of your foot, a big toe that starts to turn: we find out what is behind it. Sometimes an insole is the answer, sometimes a toe orthosis, exercises or different shoes.

  • Heel spur and heel pain
  • Pain under the forefoot
  • Big toe turning inwards
  • Knee, hip or back problems caused by how your feet stand

Six spots, six stories

  1. 1HeelHeel spur or plantar fasciitis: an overloaded band of tissue under your foot. Pain mainly with the first steps after getting up.
  2. 2ArchA fallen or high arch spreads your weight differently. You often only notice it higher up, in your knee or back.
  3. 3ForefootA burning feeling or “a pebble” under the ball of your foot. Often an overloaded metatarsal or a trapped nerve (Morton’s).
  4. 4Big toeA big toe that turns inwards (hallux valgus) or becomes stiff. An insole and different footwear slow it down.
  5. 5Small toesHammer toes and corns come from pressure. A custom silicone orthosis takes that pressure away.
  6. 6Outside edgeRepeatedly turning your ankle, or pain on the outside: we look at stability and give you exercises.

Further up

Your foot is the foundation. If it stands differently, the rest has to compensate.

Knee
A foot that rolls inwards twists your knee with it.
Hip
A leg length difference of half a centimetre already counts.
Lower back
A hard heel strike sends shocks up, step after step.

Forty-five minutes, with the pressure measurement and a video of how you walk. After that, the cause of your complaint is clear, and so is the price.
