Back room and groups
A room of your own for sixteen.
Behind the bar is a room with one long oak table, a wide window onto the courtyard garden and a screen on the wall. Hire it for a team meeting, anniversary drinks or a tasting session with our roaster. We make the coffee and lunch ourselves, one door away.
The back room was once a saddler’s workshop. The long table is made from oak from the old floor. There is daylight, a window onto the courtyard and a door that closes: you will not hear the grinder.
We pour coffee at the table and lunch comes in sharing dishes. Want something else, like a cake with candles or a tasting after closing time? That is fine.

How a meeting day goes
- The coffee is already flowing, with a cinnamon bun from this morning.
- We top up the coffee and water. You will barely notice us.
- Lunch in sharing dishes on the table: two lunch dishes, soup and bread.
- Another round of coffee, and a tray of brownies.
- Done. Anyone who wants can have a drink at the bar.
