What this treatment does

A trigger point is a tense little knot in a muscle that can send pain to a completely different place. With a thin, sterile needle we go right into that knot. The muscle briefly contracts and then relaxes.

  • Sterile needle with no fluid
  • Within your treatment, no extra charge
  • Always combined with exercises

You might come to us with

What does a treatment cost?

What people ask about this

Does it hurt?

You hardly feel the needle itself. The muscle does contract briefly, which feels like a cramp.

Is it the same as acupuncture?

No. We needle a tense muscle that we can feel with our fingers, not meridians.
