Garden build

Groundwork, paving, timber, lighting and planting by our own crew. You have one point of contact and a fixed schedule. An 80 m² garden is usually done in three to four weeks.

Materials that age beautifully

Natural stone
Sawn Belgian bluestone, travertine or a clay paver. Gets better as it weathers.

Maas gravel, Rhine gravel or chippings, on a stable base. Crunches underfoot and lets rain through.

Lawn, flowering meadow or a border. A garden with more green than stone stays cooler and holds water.

A town garden in four weeks

Week one
Groundwork
Old paving out, soil levelled, drainage and cables for the lights.
Week two
Paving
Natural stone, pavers and edging. By Friday the terrace is down.
Week three
Timber and light
Pergola, deck, benches and fence. Spotlights and water trough are connected.
Week four
Planting
Trees, hedges and the borders as per the planting plan. Then mulch and a walk-through.

We plant in the planting season, from mid-October to mid-April. If we build in summer, we come back in autumn to plant.
