A consultancy that leaves a report behind. A consultancy that stays until it works.

Helder Advies is a small firm with four permanent consultants and a network of twelve specialists. We work alongside your people, and we are only satisfied when it keeps working after we have gone.

Two consultants from a small consultancy facing each other by an open sash window, notebook and printed report, calm daylight

Why Helder Advies exists

In 2005 Machteld Ravenhorst, then an HR director, was in her third reorganisation in six years. A big firm came in, a thick report came out, and once the firm had left, everything went back to how it was.

A year later she started Helder Advies, with one promise: no report that disappears into a drawer. We work alongside your people, we agree an end date, and after six months we ring the bell to see what stuck.

The people

  • Machteld Ravenhorst

    Founder · change management

Spent twelve years as HR director in elderly care and went through three reorganisations there as the one who had to carry them out. Started Helder Advies in 2006 with one promise: no report that disappears into a drawer.

Call Machteld about mergers, reorganisations and the works council

  • Diederik Wolthuis

    Partner · interim management

Was interim director at two housing associations, a vocational college and a home care organisation. Calm in a crisis, strict on agreements. The end date is in his diary from day one.

Call Diederik about temporary leadership and getting finances in order

  • Jorinde Keuning

    Consultant · culture and collaboration

Organisational psychologist. Would rather sit in a team meeting on the shop floor than in a steering group. Brings out what everyone feels but nobody says.

Call Jorinde about teams that work past each other

  • Wander Tjalsma

    Consultant · leadership

Was operations director of an installation company with 120 engineers. Coaches managers who are strong in their field and now have to lead a team.

Call Wander about new managers and management teams

Appendix A · Invitation

A first conversation costs you an hour. Nothing else.

We come to you, or you come to our office on Voorbeeldstraat. You outline the situation. After an hour you know whether we can help, and what that would look like.
